DAVID CLEMMER

It hasn’t been that long ago since David was raiding people’s closets and raising their spirits as the style guru on the international hit television series ‘Style by Jury’ all while running Canada’s top food, decor, propping, fashion, beauty and photography agency Judy Inc. All the skills required to reign over such diverse and exciting businesses have allowed David to confidently venture into the new and exciting world of being an innkeeper. David is often found jetsettimg between Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and the Muskoka Almaquin Highlands, (thank goodness for seaplanes), brining big city concepts to the truly rustic magical world of the Northridge Inn & Resort. This Northern rustic getaway is our little piece of heaven that we love to share with our guests. “They all come as guests and they all leave as family”.

STÉPHANE AUBIN

Stephane brings a life of experience and entertainment to The Northridge. From the age of 15 he has worked professionally as a singer while traveling the world led by his career. Whether dancing on cruise ships, competing on Canadian Idol or singing for the pope at the Vatican, Stephane understood the value of making the moment count when everyone was watching. For Stephane, The Northridge is a show that requires all the same skills to ensure guests stop in their tracks and fall in love with the magic around them. With a passion for decor, gardening and entertaining, Stephane is often bouncing around the resort from dawn until dusk, making sure everything is just perfect!

BRONWYN SOLOMON

Executive Chef

Bronwyn always knew that she wanted to explore the world through food. After studying at one of South Africa’s most acclaimed cooking schools, Bronwyn set off into the bush working at various 5-star game reserves in South Africa.

Irked by constantly losing stock to hungry hyaenas and baboons, Bronwyn relocated, settling in the beautiful Cape Winelands at the tip of South Africa, where she worked at an award-winning wine farm.

Bronwyn has always firmly believed that food is a universal language which brings people together. With this in mind she wanted to travel further and now finds herself with wide eyes navigating through the snow and past bears in order to get to her new kitchen at The Northridge Inn.

Bronwyn enjoys creating up-market bistro-styled cuisine with a Mediterranean flare – always focusing on the importance of locally sourced, fresh ingredients.

Kate Hood

Event Manager

Joining The Northridge’s professional team in 2021, Kate is well versed in the art of great Northridge experiences. Kate’s been sipping signature cocktails and photographing weddings with us for years! She is a transplanted local, first falling in love with Sundridge as a cottager, she went on to build a successful photography career. Kate has worked with corporate, wedding and private clients all over North America. She now spends her time creating exotic photography sessions, however, this year you will find her spending much of her time here with us at The Northridge ensuring every beautiful event detail is lovingly considered and executed to perfection!

Kate’s love of cottage life is what brought her to the wilds of Almaguin, however, her desire to support and serve this quaint community is what keeps her grounded.

NANCY JOHNSTONE

Housekeeping Manager

Nancy is a true Almaguin woman, having grown up in Sundridge.  As most of us do, she ventured off to live in cities across Canada, returning to Sundridge in 1998 to raise her family of 3 daughters.

Nancy brings her many years in the Hospitality industry to her new role at the Northridge Inn, as Housekeeping Manager, which she started in the 2021 season.  We can thank her and her team with keeping the resort clean, organized, and tidy, always ready for our guests to use.

When Nancy isn’t at work, she enjoys time with family and friends, card & boardgames, travel, knitting, watching hockey and of course, the beautiful Lake Bernard.
